Mike originally joined Sordoni in 1983 as a Project Manager. In 1986 he was promoted to Chief Operating Officer and remained in that position through the Skanska acquisition. In 1994 Mike was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer of Sordoni Skanska.
Under Mike’s leadership Sordoni Skanska, and subsequently Skanska USA Building, grew from a small local business with less than 80 employees into the second largest construction company in the United States with 26 offices, 4,000 employees and $4 Billion in annual revenues.
In 2005 Mike left Skanska and became the President and CEO of Sordoni Construction Co. As an owner operator, Mike’s hands on management style, his wealth of experience and his obsession with customer focus continues to result in extraordinarily successful projects for Sordoni’s clientele.
